Michael R. Sorensen

Mike Sorensen has been practicing tax, pension and corporate law since the 1970's. Mike received his law degree from the University of Washington and was on the Law Review. While on Law Review, Mike was a Comment Editor and authored two published articles. One article discusses how past performance affects the Statute of Frauds, while the second was part of a symposium on the revised Washington State Criminal Code. Mike finished law school as a member of Order of the Coif.

Mike's present practice focuses on the corporate, real estate and business law issues. He has substantial business and tax law experience, and has been lead counsel in over two dozen "no-action" requests directed to various securities regulators. He also has been counsel in a substantial number of cases before the U.S. Tax Court and the federal appellate courts.

Mike is admitted to practice only in the state of Washington.
